Hi!

In our department we are required to work every other weekend, however we are trying to propose a 1 weekend a month requirement. Does anyone have any articles or information they can provide to help us when we propose this to management? Have you successfully been able to implement this change in your work place ?

    It depends on staffing. Do you have sufficient staff to permit this? Are you currently overstaffed on weekends?

    Where I work everyone is required to work one Saturday and one Sunday per schedule (four week block) but many people work every other weekend.
