I am about to start an lvn program. My science gpa is 2.3. I am scared that I will not get into any lvn to rn bridge programs because of this. My friend just got rejected from a bridge program since his science gpa was 2.3. Now I am scared that I will be stuck as an lvn for forever and have no way to advance up to RN. Is this possible???

Of course not there's many options! Lpn to rn is not as competitive as a straight to rn. In ny and nj most did not look at your gpa in your pre req's courses. Also there is online programs as well.

With a 2.3 grade point average, many of the investor-owned schools of nursing (ITT Technical Institute, West Coast University, Brown Mackie, Galen, Platt, Fortis, Kaplan College) will readily accept you.
Thank you for the input! :)
