I am a holder of diplomas in Renal nursing and General nursing and currently working in a dialysis unit at the biggest referral centre in Zimbabwe called Parirenyatwa Hospital, my unit has 17 haemodialysis stations. I am interested in working in the US but I don't know where to start. any help would be greatly appreciated

Your first step would be to find out how you could legally get a working visa and a United States nursing license. You will probably have to pass the English test and maybe take our state boards, called the NCLEX test. Decide which state you would like to go to- Florida, California, Texas maybe? Then go to their board of nursing website and see what the requirements are to get a nursing license for that state. They should have a link for people who live out of the country. That's where I would start is research.

Maybe someone who had done this as a new resident will have better advice.
