iam an international nurse trained in ghana.i had three years education in nursing (diploma)

i have taken the board exam in ca and passed. my question is what qualification do i have .i mean degree do i have now. am cofused about it. i need some clarification.

Did you sit for the RN or LPN? I would assume if you sat for the RN, passed the exam, you are considered an RN. The same with LPN. Hope that helps.

You are a RN if you took the RN exam in the same way you would be a LPN/LVN if you took the LPN/LVN exam. Taking the exam will not change your diploma to a degree.
