Help !

Hi all really need you help.Could you please tell me what are the elements involved in the study of disease and also the concepts used in the language of disease.I have to familiarize myself with this for discussion next Pathophysiology class.The text we are using is still on order by the school bookshop which will take another two weeks till we get them and i can't seem to find the information online.Any help will be greatly appreciated thanks.

That sounds like stuff you could really only get from the textbook :/ Different textbooks all have different opinions on concepts and elements and things like that. Is there a competing bookstore in the area you could buy the book from? Two weeks is ridiculous - you could probably get it shipped from Half.com in less time than that and for a lower price. You really can't wait that long for a textbook. I'd recommend you check out your options for another bookstore.

Yes, I was going to say that that sounds like a statement right out of the author's mouth so you need the textbook to answer it. However, all diseases are due to normal anatomy and physiology processes that have gone wrong somewhere. It results in signs and symptoms that we can often detect which is how we first find out someone has a disease. I am sure the author had more to say about this, but that is the main principle.
