Help

I'm not sure about the LPN program, but when I did my RN-BSN program it is a requirement to be a graduate from an accredited nursing school before you're even eligible to take the NCLEX. When you graduate you recieve your ATT (authorization to test) via email or mail, then you're eligible to sign up to take the NCLEX.

Graduation is required to sit for the exam, unless you want to take the steps to challenge it. I don't think you would qualify to challenge it, but check with the BON

I know this is going to sound nuts but I'm in my 4th semester of nursing school and I need a break. Does anyone know if it's possible to take the nclex for LPN without graduating from a program? I've already gotten the content, you know? Please help me if you can.

It depends. In Florida you can get a letter from the school after Basic Nursing, Med Surg, OB and Peds. Several of my classmates did this.

About a hundred years ago I took the LPN board after the 1st year of an ADN program. Aside from enabling me to earn more money while I finished school, taking the exam itself was good experience.
