any help on this subject

A friend and I decided to travel together. We went thru all the application filling, references. etc... We had settled for CA. When applying for license. She had a disipline on her license from years ago. It did not involve any disruption in her nursing ability. Never suspened. But CA. onlinelic. said she was not eligible for a walk thru. And that the route she would have to take could delay her license up to 2 months. Has anyone had this happen? If so what states allow a walk thru? We really want to stick together. But I am going to have to get to working soon. Thank you for any help you may have.

I had been a traveller for years and I know that now most states are tighteneing up their licensure. If you've had any type of disiplinary actions against your license, I doubt any state will let you do a walk through. I would suggest that she goes ahead and apply in CA and any other states that she would be interested in. You never know, she may not have to wait as long as she thinks. Good Luck and happy travels.

Thank you for your advice. We are going to do as you said.
