Help me to simplify the process of conception

currently i'm working on my outline of objectives and i need help discussing the process of conception in lamus terms for me to under stand. the book goes over every detail and i'll be writing 4 pages about it by time i finish. all i want to know is point by point the process of conception. i know there is so much more than the sperm invading the ovum and fertilizing it. :bugeyes:
