Help project idea

I'm a fnp graduate school nurse and I'm trying to figure out my final project, I want to do something regards to complementary therapies in nursing but I'm not sure how to make that into a final research project presentation?

Hello Pamela18

We moved your thread to the Student NP forum for the best response.

I just used my school's library search for CAM (complementary alternative medicine) treatments for ___________. There was so much information as compared to a few yrs ago. I also liked searching Google Scholar for topics. Only problem with google scholar is you may have to pay for some of the articles to open up full text.

I have found in my searches a lack of available papers/articles in regards to CAM treatments utilized in mental health.

What area are you specializing in?Or what are your project parameters? Areas of interest? Those are always good places to start.

I was interested in essential oils wound treatment I guess I'm just not sure how to make it into a project presentation

I think that would be an awesome project. You could also run this through the wound care nurse section here for other feedback.
