Help me pls...

hello peeps!!! i just took the philippine licensure exam last june 2007 and i am still waiting for the results. I was reading the thread here and I find it very intriguing because i too am planning to take the vermont nclex because i hear the processing time is much faster than in california and much easier. I also understand that one has to be a local board passer ( in one's own state or country) to apply in vermont. Is it true that in california the waiting time is one year or more?? Are these correct?? I was also wondering where I could download the required application forms for the vermont exam because all I could find at Google is the one for california. I cant seem to find the website for it. Please Help!!! I would really appreciate it!!!!

thanks a lot....

here you go. I don't think CA is taking 12 months to process but they do make their own assessments, so depends on how timely you submit paperwork and also will not issue license without SSN which you can't get until you are legally in the USA ready to start work and takes a few weeks to get NCLEX results. Plenty of info also on here about CA if you try the search facility you can find plenty of info
