Help pls issues w/back ck and license

Here is my story I finished nursing school in Augs 2009, I took the Nclex on 12/29/09 and got my results on 12/31/2009 and I passed. The problem is I had to do a background check to sit for the exam, I did the background check on 12/2/09 and received my ATT on 12/4 and I received a response from the National Background check, stating I had an inquiry for a issues that happen in 08/97 I was never found guilty of the charge and it was dismissed due to the lack of evidence 09/97 at that time my lawyer file for an expungement to have it removed from record.

The expungement process was never completed be of an unsigned document to complete the process. Well I had no knowledge of the unsigned document and that my request for the expungement was never granted. Some might ask why I did not know this important info, well before now this has never been an issues, I assume the expungement had been granted b/c I never received any info to say different. Well the board of nursing is holding my license number due to this info and my finger print from the FBI. However, I have been calling trying since last week to get some feedback from the BON related to this issue and all I have gotten is the run around and no return phone call from the persons who is spouse to handle this matter, I keep hearing that the whole department is out for one reason or another. I know it has only been a week since I passed my exam, but I don't think they care about my situation.

I know they hear one sad story to the next, Nevertheless my issue is I need a job like yesterday. I lost my job in 07 as a MA/NA due to cutbacks at that time I was in my 1st year of the nursing program so my family and I made the sacrifice and I went to school fulltime with the hopes of becoming RN and get a job and start my career as nurse. My husband has been working 2-3 jobs just to make ends meet we have 3 kids and one is in college, and a stack of bills one of which is my mortgage which my be going into foreclosure soon if I don't' get a job. As a new grad it is hard enough to get a interview let alone job, but I have had the opportunity to get a few callback but hold is my issue with the MD BON. Pls tell me what to do b/c I am on the edge right now and I am crying and stressed out, b/c we are broke with no means, my husband is sick, and something that happen almost 13yrs ago is holding up my future. I feel I have done everything I could do on my part to handle this situation I have even began the filing process again which is costing me. PLS HELP WITH INFO OR WORDS OF ENCURGEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!! :crying2::crying2:
