Help Please! Need to find a school ASAP

help! does anyone know of any inexpensive night/weekend or even online asn or bsn degrees in or around the state of north carolina, preferably charlotte or chapel hill? i currently hold a bachelors degree with a ton of undergrad loans and am i'm willing to move almost anywhere to save taking out more money for nursing school. and yes, i have to work while going to school which is why i cannot do an accelerated 2nd degree bsn program...

thanks

UNC offers an online program for going from your Associate's to Bachelors. Good luck!

I am not aware of any schools in the area that offer straight online for ADN or BSN. There are some schools that offer it at night on campus. Johnston Community College in Smithfield does it every other year at night. Its not near Chapelhill or Charlotte. Not aware of a UNC BSN program online.

I got my RN last year. It took me 4 years trying to get it. I got it in a unconventional way. I too had a BS in another field and it was next to impossible getting into a RN program. I ended up getting my LPN and immediately enrolled in Excelsior College ADN program in Albany NY. I studied the material and took the test at a local center. The whole process took 2.5 yrs vs 2 yrs in a traditional program. I was also able to work.

HERE is the link to the UNC program. It is the only college in the area that I know of that does an online RN to BSN program.

I don't think the OP is a Registered Nurse. You have to have your RN in order to do this program. I think she is looking for a online program to get her RN.
