I would suggest the Nursing Diagnosis Handbook by Betty Ackley. It has a list of 5 or 6 nursing dx for rhabdomyolysis. Good luck.

your problem is that you are trying to convert a medical diagnosis into a nursing diagnosis (nursing problem). that is like converting pounds to kilograms. the two are just not the same. do you understand? also, your patient's rhabdomyolysis is a complication of something else going on that has happened with the patient, so you have no relayed the entire medical picture of what has happened to the patient accurately. did this person fall? overexert himself?

a nursing diagnosis is based upon doing a nursing assessment of the patient in order to determine what their nursing problems are. in so doing you can incorporate the same symptoms that go into the medical diagnosis of rhabdomyolysis, but you also want to include the patient's response to this disease. that would be how they are able to accomplish their adls (activities of daily living). how are they able to walk, eat, go to the bathroom, work, relax? how are they coping with this illness? those are nursing considerations you need to assess. if there are problems with any of them there are nursing diagnoses for them. you can find information about rhabdomyolysis and what is going on medically with your patient here: https://allnurses.com/nursing-student-assistance/medical-disease-information-258109.html - medical disease information/treatment/procedures/test reference websites
