HELP NP topic

I guys, i am in FNP school at UAB and I have to write about a topic that an NP sees in the clinic and how we would manage it but my dilemma is that i am picking things that are too broad such as HTN in the elderly or COPD in the elderly. One of my friends is doing MOno in the teenager...any suggestions on how to narrow down my topic....or other topics

How about strep throat, OM, pinworms, or ADHD? (Can you tell I'm peds?!!) Some that might work for adults would be appendicitis, scabies, or maybe even folliculitis? Hope that helps a little!

Other things:

1. diabetes education in the newly diagnosed NIDDM pt

2. discussion of end of life issues

3. heart disease prevention

Good luck - let us know what you choose.
