I live in US for last 3 months . My husband is working for an official project in US ,so i accompanied him in L2 dependent visa .but being earned Nursing degree & was working in India its boring to sit at home . I have applied to mary land board of nursing for NCLEX-RN , the process is on progress. Hope i will give my exam in JAN end .As well i have applied to EDA (which allows as to work in US). I have a question , Is it possible for me work as a RN with EAD or i need to have any other immigrant satus to work in US ?. I will be very thankful if any one of you answer my question .

After checking the State Department's website, you cannot work with a dependent visa. Once you get the correct one, then you'll have to apply for licensure in the state in which you practice, which it looks like you're on track to doing :)

Good Luck and welcome to the United States!
