Help with the look of a posterboard?

Hi! I am doing a poster board like a three fold board on pediatrics and immunizations. Looks is 50% of my grade, but I am not very creative...

Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can make my board look visually appealing? I was thinking of printing pictures of cartoon kids growing up and using it as a border and adding pictures, but I am not sure. Please help if you have any ideas andthank you!

Either use color pictures or draw. Black and white pictures are tacky, of course. Make your board look like it has personality. Not sure what your personality is but I used to always make my boards really neat and unified and since my handwriting isn't the best I'd use Microsoft Word and use those pop style letterings for titles/subtitles and then type everything else with normal font. Idk, you can't go too wrong with poster boards unless it's sloppy or lazy looking

If you have a little cash to spend- get thee to the nearest teacher supply store!

Clean lines, pick a color scheme (I did black, silver, and red), mat each section.

I had an art teacher (neighbor) help me with my posterboard for the science fair and it went from my lowest scoring section to my highest. Have any creative friends that could use a free lunch?
