I'm an experienced RN having worked L&D and OR, we are wanting to move to Ontario, thinking mostly about Ottawa. I've been getting discouraged hearing about how hard it is to find a job right now? Is this true in Ottawa?
Also- do I pretty much just apply to NNAS to validate my license then apply for Express Entry? This all seems pretty confusing. I wasn't planning on starting the process until I finish my BSN this fall but really could use some tips from experienced folks. Thanks!!

NNAS is for the college and not federal. NNAS is a long process and probably better to do once you complete BSN. Federal just want to know that you meet express requirements by meeting points. All I can suggest is check out Canadian forum in regards jobs but remember all done on seniority so usually way to get foot through the door is by going casual so if you are looking for full time employment then expect a long wait

I doubt you will be able to immigrate. I had to move to the US after marriage, as it would take too long for the immigration process. Also unless they grandfather you in with your ADN, they won't hire you without a BSN.
