Help I need Info

Hi to all,

I am very new to this forum, but I have a question about nursing outside the USA.

Does anyone know what I need to do, to be able to work as a Nurse in Germany and where I can find an agency, who sends me overthere (sesonal)?

I would be very thankfull for your help and suggestions.

I would think that if you wanted to work in German hospitals, you'd have to speak some pretty good German, and I think you'd have to have a German nursing license. If that required a written exam, we're back to having not just pretty good German but outstanding command of the language.

If you are interested in working as a civilian American in American hospitals, you might check into civil service. I know the military cannot get enough nurses--you could check into civil service and not run the risk of going to the Middle East. I do think you need a BSN to work for the government (at least you do in the military and VA hospitals).
