What fundamentals book are you using? Does your book have multiple-choiice NCLEX style questions? Does your book have a sttudy guide with test questions? Does your book have a website? Those are all good places to start

I's normal to feel overwhelmed. I don't think I was truly used to the workload until after my third and hardest semester, which was med-surg.
A good way to start is with a learning style inventory to see which kind of learner you are. Keep in mind that many people can benefit from multiple styles.

Relax.......it is normal to be overwhelmed with the information that needs to be learned. Nursing isn't easy....there is a ton of information to memorize and learn but don't panic.
Breathe deep and calm down.... even learning how to study is apart of the curve.
Thanks Everyone... I realized I'm just going to try my best and study whatever I can. After I take my first exam Monday then I will worry about it.

I know you already took your exam, and I'm sure you did great! Nursing exams are completely different from what you have been used to, and I felt that first exam was the most overwhelming..after the first one you start to get a sense of how the questions are worded and what they are looking for. One thing that really helped me was buying and NCLEX review book, and doing practice questions in whatever topics the test was on. This gets you warmed up on answering those type of questions, and is a good review overall. Also, when it comes time to really study for the NCLEX, you will have such an easier time if you have been practicing the questions all along!
I actually got a B on this test, which isn't so bad. The class average was a 70%. A lot of people failed. You need a 76% to pass.
Thank You so much for your support
Can you please tell me exactly which book it is so I can purchase it, Thank You :)

You can get an NCLEX review book that covers all nursing topics, but has chapters divided by subject so that you can review the fundamentals chapters while you are in that class then review other subjects as they come up later in your program. The book I've most often seen recommended for that is Saunders, but there are other good ones out there.
Or you can get a book that is just on fundamentals and has NCLEX style questions in it. The two that I've used most often are Mary Ann Hogan's Reviews & Rationales series and the Davis Success Series. (I've linked to the fundamentals title from each series, but they both have title for other common nursing classes like medical-surgical, OB/Peds, psych, etc.)
