HELP clueless

Published

Hello,

I am having trouble trying to figure out everything and my counselor is useless. I am pretty much done with my GEs. I went from PT to nursing, so on some websites I am now seeing some other pre-reqs. For example, anthropology, sociology, philosophy, developmental psychology, and US history. Is this true? Do my other GEs not count?

Also, for a chemistry class, does it matter if I take Intro to Bio and the lab or general chemistry?

Lastly, I need some recommendations for nursing schools for BSN. I will be going in with GEs and pre-reqs done. I am in Southern California and I'm thinking I don't mind moving states, but staying close to California. My GE classes, I didn't do well, so I need a school that isn't as competitive as the ones near me.

Thanks!!

This is something you really need to discuss with the school(s) as this will be very specific based on the school's policies about transfer credits and what courses fulfill GE requirements.

Yes. That is why I am having trouble with picking classes. I need help finding a nursing school that is not as competitive as the ones by me.

Is San Marcos or Channel Islands super competitive?
