My instructor has told me I need to find the indications and action for a drug she called REB. She said it is in the classification of an antihypertensive. I have searched and could only find Rebetol, which appears to be a medication for hepatitis.
If anyone knows of a antihypertensive medication known as REB, please guide me to your source.
Thanks

I don't know if this helps, but I'm a telemetry nurse and I've never heard of it. That sounds more like an abbreviation of some sort. Didn't she give you a generic name?
Is it possible that she was talking about ARB's, which stands for Angiotensin II Receptor Blockers, and is a classification of antihyptertensives?

I know this is a bit of a stretch, but I wonder if she was meaning the drug Ser-Ap-Es which is a compound drug of hydrochlorothiazide, reserpine and hydralazine? Or, if she was referring to a form of reserpine which is used as an antihypertensive (http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/medmaster/a601107.html)?
