help!!cgfns

All my documents were received and accepted except my university transcript! This had to be redone again which my uni were not pleased about. they broke everything down into hours but I think they did it wrong still :(, I went into the UNI to talk to them but they were not best happy! I am a uk adult nurse but I did the foundation year which included mother and child and mental health. The uni put down I did 160 hours for maternal and infant however they did not put me down for any for childrens nursing even although I had a placement with the school nurse and my transcript also shows this! I have done child protection courses and I also did childrens nursing in ICU to which they added that as it was not part of the EEC directive that Therefore dont need to specify it! I feel so let down as I think that my application will be set for failure now and have been studying like mad for this NCLEX! please can anyone give me advice on what to do, :(

    There isn't a lot I think you can do if the university isn't willing to assist with the breakdown of your transcripts

    The thing is that they have done there own breakdown of hours and included the child placement in that and in my training but not on the form. I phoned CGFNS to explain what is going on and they said if it is not right this time they will contact them themselves. I surely must have some rights? feeling very disheartened :(

    It is very hard for someone trained in the UK but I guess all you can do is get something from the University, if they will write something, and send to CGFNS or wait for them to go through the process

    They have sent the transcript along with the form. and their own breakdown of hours , the transcript states it but the form they were asked to fill in does not! and yeah its hard.

    Sorry i forgot to add that although they state this in the transcript that they said 0 for childrens nursing? I thought that the school nurse and health visitor was childrens nursing? am I wrong to assume this?

    That I would think would be up to the state to decide. How many clinical and theory hours did you do?

    Thanks for replying silverdragon, I am quite upset. my placement was with the health visitor/ school nurse and midwives. that totalled 160 hours. they put all the hours to the midwives and never divided it between the child, even although I had child competences to complete as well as midwifery which they also sent off to cgfns. I had maternal and child hours in theory as well but again they added them into the semester hours and never divded them specifically even though they put it down
