Help with an assignment

Hello,

I am currently a FNP student and I am in need of help for an assignment. We have been asked to interview a current practicing NP. I do not know any NPs personally and I frequently browse allnurses.com and find this site very informative as far as explaining the NP role. I was wondering if there were any NPs who would be willing to answer a few interview questions for me. Here are the questions:

1. What is your educational background?

2. How long have you been in practice in your current position?

3. What type of practice are you in?

4. What type of setting do you practice in and what other professionals work in your practice?

5. How did you obtain your current position?

6. How does the NP practice rolle fit with your envisioned role prior to graduation?

7. What are some of the facilitators and barriers to the implementation of your role in your current practice?

8. Is your practice family centered or individual focused?

9. How receptive are your clients to the NP practice role?

10. What are some of the issues you have faced related to intra-professional role conflict, management strategies, and outcomes?

11. What would you change about your current role or practice?

Please PM me your responses. Thank you very much.
