HELP!! Advice on TEAS Test and Programs

Published

I am beyond frustrated with my job. My goal is to go to BSN school to get my degree but since I can't do that since I'd have to quit my job and go during the day. I will have to do a LVN or AAS Nursing program in the evening. Applications are due May 1st and have to take the TEAS test by then. Most people have been studying forever but at this point I'm thinking life is too short and I should just say eff it and go for it, take the test and see how I do and apply. What are your recommendations?? I don't have a lot of time to "study" if I sign up now.

P.S. I am from San Antonio Texas, have almost all of pre-reqs to go to a BSN program. Is it worth doing a LVN or AAS RN program? I just want to start working and getting into a better career

Taking the prereq classes should have prepared you for the TEAS; just brush up on your skills in the time you have left. Good luck :)

Thanks, appreciate it.

Go for it!! I think they provide a booklet on content of the TEAS test where you will be taking it. Pick one of those books up and just review basics. Put as much time as you can in studying you have nothing to lose by taking the test and doing your best! I would totally recommend you go straight into an RN program if you can!! Good Luck!
