Hello

I am hoping to start my ADN at Macomb CC in Fall 2004. Currently employed in computer industry. My wife is in the MA program at Macomb and I want to enter the medical field also.

I am 49 years old and have a daughter in 7th grade. I will be taking AP next semester.

I'm also working on my ADN at Macomb. When you register for A&P, try to get Mr.Fields....he was great. He used to be head of Respiratory Therapy at one of the local hospitals, and he uses a lot of real life scenarios to get the information across to you. Good Luck! :)

I have Prof Fields right now. He is awesome. I LOVE THAT MAN!!!

He makes up little stories to explain things and is fair. He is definitely going in my book of best teachers ever.

About A&P, several people have told me about Mr. Fields. I registered for the MW class Lab first. The book didn't say yet who taught the class. Now, I just have to wait for the ratings to come out in April and hope.

I can also recommend Riddell as a FANTASTIC A&P prof!

I had Wanda Ragland about a year ago. I was accepted into the October start date and am 6 weeks into the program. Wheww! A whole lot of homework and reading. If you have not been accepted into the program yet from what I saw is that you just about have to be an all "A" student with reading/writing 45 and above. Good luck to you.

Yes, I know the selective admissions is pretty tough I am looking very good on GPA and test scores. Are you or any other students still able to work part time and keep up with the pace?

I am a 56 year old RN and working in Phone Triage.....Good for you in

your endeaver......your life experience will be a great help for you....

Thanks - I did get accepted at Macomb for the fall and anxious to get going.

It's never too late to be what you might have been.

Thanks for the support Su360.
