Hello

Hello, never posted on here before. So hi everyone. I am a UK student nurse who will be qualifying in September with a diploma in adult nursing and little prospect of a job in my local area due to redeployment of staff following reorganisation of services. Does anyone know whether there are any job opportunities available for newly qualified staff nurses in Canada? I would be grateful to hear from anybody who has any info.

you may have a problem if you don't have enough hours in all specialities, ie midwifery, mental health, paeds as well as general. Check out the Canadian forum foun in the international forum,

As Anna stated above, you will be required to have enough hours in all of the required areas, including peds, marernal health, and mental health; to be able to sit for the licensing exams in either the US or Canada.

And several of the provinces in Canada are now requiring the BSN for initial licensure.......please look at some of the threads here on the same topic.

Thank you both for your replies. I will have a look in the other forums you mentioned.
