hello - introducing myself :-)

Hello future nurses :-)

I just found this forum and have spent the last few hours reading everything! All the threads are so helpful. I'm a pre-nursing student taking some of my prerequisites prior to applying for a direct entry master's in nursing program. Currently I'm taking A&P I (I had my first test today) and Organic Chem. I'm going to take A&P 2 and Statistics over the summer, and then finish up with Microbiology, Nurition and Developmental Psych in the fall semester - just in time to complete my apps and hopefully start school the following fall.

I've been out of college for about 11 years, working in Corporate America and have felt really dissatisfied. I really wanted to be helping people! After a lot of thought and time spent volunteering at hospitals, I really narrowed in on becoming a Nurse Practitioner. It feels good to have some direction and I'm really excited to embark on my new path.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. Best of luck to everyone in their classes and new journeys.
