hello to all the pinoy nurses and nurses to be in the pi. i am a pinoy nursing student here in houston. and just reading the forum here somehow uplift my spirits when i feel like i want to give up.
i know so many of the nurses there wants to pursue the american dream. and most of the time i am here complaining about how hard it is to study and have a family at the same time. when i read the forum here, i think about you guys, and how the process of getting here frustrates you.
i became a US citizen last year. and one of my accomplishemnt is bringing my parents here. they got here just 2 weeks ago. the process of their petition was just 8 months. they are here mainly to help me finish school. daycare is not an option for me because i am a paranoid mother.
my daughter just turned 2 by the way.
anyway, so much so for my life story...i have no reason to complain about how hard it is to study or how hard my everyday struggle is because it just doesn't compare to the struggles that the nurses in pi have specially the nurses waiting to get here in the US
to my fellow filipino nurses, i salute you, and you give me the strength to continue with my schooling and to finish it with flying colors.
