my own health prob!!!

I have a question....and need help. I little story....jan I had my second child, a baby girl...very healthy at 9lbs 7oz....little to say it was my second c-section. the would got infected, and I became a home health patient, (i am a home health nurse!) I know I had MRSA in the wound...but no one would test me. I am a military wife...and I have no clue why they would not. One went as far to say, your a health care worker, you have it. I was breast feeding...so I asked them should I stop so you can treat the mrsa...they said no, and sent me home on keflex for 10days. that is all I have had. my wound took 6 months to heal. at start it was 4inches long, by 3 inches wide, by 3 inches deep. very painful. I even started back to work packing it myself. it kept splitting open, and finally they sentme to a wound care clinic. finally it healed. then I got three bug bites, that turned into cellulitis. they put me on ceflex, and bactrim. for 15 days. But now clear back on Aug 29th I had a growth removed from my left thumb. it just ended up being a glomangioma, but was putting so much pressure on my nerves I was losing feeling in my thumb. but my thumb is still very painful, and the whole inside of the joint is bright red. Now the very middle of the area is getting a 'yellow' tint to it. as we all know "we as nurses do not make the best patients at times." what ya all think? i am trying to find time to get to the md...just haven't made it. I requested antibiotics when they cut that out...but the dr said..I didn't need them.

thanks!
