Did anyone apply to HBU for fall 2011. There are no posts about this school and I would love to hear some feedback.

Hey kc0321,

Have you been accepted/wait listed and the 15th is the intent day or do acceptance letters go out the 15th?

I have been trying to find out about this school and no one ever talks about it. I know it's expensive but how is the program?

ive been wait listed for now. They'll let me know by the 15th. May 2nd is orientation. It is very pricey, about 38 thousand. plus cost of living if you decide to move there. They dont do interviews like many other schools do. They strictly look at your gpa and hesi scores. I've heard that the program is very challenging but imagine thats any nursing program. It is a very good school to receive your bsn from and they pretty much find your job once you are all finished. have you applied anywhere?

I am graduating with a bs this May from out of state and want to come back to Houston. I plan to apply to all Houston schools but will lack the Texas history and some humanities that I will take this summer and fall then start applying for the spring. I would only lack the 9 hours of chrisianity class at HBU. I wish you luck, how many do they wait list and then accept?
