This might be a strange question, but I was wondering if the grades from all transcripts count? I have a Bachelor's degree in a non-science field, so I need to take the science courses at a local community college. However, the wait list for Anatomy, Micro., and Physiology at the community college (in general too) are way too long. I need to gain some sort of priority, so I need to take as many units as I can. My plan is to take generic/random classes just to gain priority. I know that the Bachelor's degree GPA counts (3.0 and higher), and I know that the science pre-req. matters, but how about the total GPA (total as in every single unit that you have ever taken either from a university or college)? I don't plan to study as much for the random classes that I am planning to take at the junior college, since I just need to build up my units. Is this a bad plan though? I am just under the impression that they need my Bachelor's degree, and only the science classes from the junior college that I will be taking.
Also, if I took classes like Life Development (which is required by most schools) online, would this be accepted? What if I took more classes online (not the science classes) with the intention of just increasing the number of units that I will have at the junior college. Again, more units will equal more priority in registration, which will allow me to enroll in the anatomy, micro, etc. classes which are all impacted.
Thank you!
