Has anyone ever.........

Has anyone ever been able to get a second chance at an interview for the same NICU you interviewed for about a year earlier? If so, what do you think made the difference the second time around?

I am going to apply for the same NICU that I applied for around this time last year. Last year I had an interview for a GN position in an NICU. Well, this year I am applying as a RN with some nursing experience but NOT in a NICU it is on a med-surg floor. I also just joined the National Association of Neonatal Nurses as of last week and I am still trying to find a NRP course that will fit in my schedule.
