Had an interview, and now what?

I just had an interview with North York General in Toronto last Monday but since then, I haven't heard of anything and they didn't ask for reference list at the end of interview. I'm worried now. Does that means I fail to interview?

Your interview was 2 days ago or a week and a half ago?

You have nothing to lose by calling or emailing the human resources department to check on the status of your application. Good luck to you.

But the human resources won't know because the interview I had was with the nurse managers and educators. So unless the managers contact the HR, HR won't know anything about the the status of my application

HR and the nurse recruiter stay in contact with the managers. The HR/Nurse recruiter is the one to let you know about a job offer, not the manager (at least in my case).

I interviewed on a Friday and they let me know on Tuesday. I believe I had the job before the interview (more like a tour than an interview). You may have been the first interview and there may be several last week and this week. I would give it until Monday, then call HR.

They didn't even ask for my reference at this point and it has been a week and a half. is it a bad sign that it's unlikely I will get the offer?

Hi Tiffy,

Did you end up getting the job?

I have an interview with NYGH in couple weeks and really anxious about it. Do you remember what kind of questions they asked? Did they ask any medical knowledge questions?

Thank you in advance for your help
