I asked my Dr. for it yesterday and she doesn't have it just yet available for her clients. She gave me the regular flu shot and said that it is suppose to help for it. I went ahead and got that for now!!

I dont trust anything thats new. I dont feel safe taking something that is still "experimental". I will not be taking it.

i do understand the problems with it being new. I am still torn. What will probably decide it for me is would I prefer Gui. Barre over ARDS. Probably. Also I imagine my mom in the hospital for something else and her getting it - and finding out later her nurses were not immunized. As a nurse it is our right but as a patient/family member it would infuriate me that she was cared for by those non protected-and she can't just get in line for the vaccine, my mom, being one of the last in line to be eligible. I would want her nurses immunized...but then again...by the time ii is available, we may already have immunity, having been exposed by then to it. Then I would have a problem taking a vaccine just because they say I should....ohhhhh

Don't forget that you can get GB from the virus itself, not just the vaccine...
true true and kidney failure, multiple organ failure really...and i think my chances will be placed on the vax even tho i think i already had the flu (still getting over the sore throat and cough-sometimes feels like i have whooping cough it is awful whatever it was)! Wish we could get tested to see if we have immunity already-i would pay for that!
