Grrr scheduling issues

I have been on the ADN waiting list for 2 1/2 years, and have taken all of the pre-reqs except for micro. Due to scheduling ( they only offered it night) I waited to take it until summer, and have been working as a teachers assistant for A&P II. I have also been tutoring this semester. Come to find out, because I didn't take a class, I am now off the roster and have to register with the general public! if I get put on a waiting list I am going to scream :uhoh3: So in order to stay in good standings I'll have to spend money I don't have and take classes I don't need until my name comes up on the list? How is that fair?

That's crazy, but the colleges want more money, right? :uhoh3:

I guess looking at it from a different perspective, many employers hire from within. I guess schools can choose to do that with students too.

Sorry you have to spend money on classes not in the program, but I guess learning a variety of material is not necessarily a waste. Have you taken Spanish? Maybe that would be a class to take. (Even fluent Spanish speakers can take it.)

I took 4 years in high school, but could certainly use a refresher. I can take pharmacology online in the fall ( hopefully-they only have 16 slots), but I may have to wait until January 2007 to start the program. 4 years on a waiting list :(
