Lots of great opportunities in your nexck of the woods right now .... not sure of the hosptial names, but rest assured there are plenty of RN and LPN positions avaioable. Good luck with the move.

Delray is in between ft. lauderdale and west palm beach, if you don't mind the commute (45 minutes - 1 hour) you can work in either of these citites.

Delray Medical Center (or institute??) is right in delray, all I know about that hospital is that it's Tenet, which most hospitals in this area are. Tenet has a few LPN's, but it's hard to get a position, not impossible though.

HCA is the other big group of hospitals here. They also have a few LPN's, but they are alot like tenet.

Boynton beach is just north of delray and that's where Bethesda Hospital is. Bethesda is one of the few privately owned hospitals and it also employs LPN's. They do team nursing, 10 pts, 1 RN, 1 LPN and 1 CNA. The LPN passes all the meds and does all the dressing changes.

There are ALF and LTC facilities everywhere and they are always hiring LPN's and pay better than the hospitals.

There is also alot of agency work in home health care or corrections. There are many agencies here to choose from. I have worked with Maxim and they are great, I would recommend giving them a call if you're interested in those areas.

Hope this helps, Good luck on your move.
