Does anyone know of a helpful website for drug calculations (mainly grain problems)? I am attempting my first test on friday and I am a little apprhensive about the grain problems since there weren't very many examples in our workbook. Can anyone help me out? :nurse:

The link Daytonite provided is excellent. Also when thinking Grains...just remember

1 grain = 60 mg

gr 1 = 60mg

gr 1/2 = 30mg

gr 1/4 = 15mg

and so on.

in a drug calc you would just convert and then proceed with the calculation.

I know if I saw let's say order for tylenol 1/2 gr. I would say 1/2 of 60 =30. so the ans is 30mg.

hope that helps:)
