after graduation...

I just wanted to hear some thoughts about this and if anyone who is a manager or in HR, please comment back.

I graduate next month and plan to take the NCLEX when I can in a timely manner. However, I have scheduled classes at a local college (I'm graduating from a hospital dipolma program) towards my BSN with the thought of applying for hospital jobs in October/November and focusing on the job there out so I would either take a online class or no classes for that spring semester. I will gladly accept a LTC or office nursing job in the meantime as long as I don't have orient on a day shift (won't be able to because my class schedule)

Everyone is looking at me funny when I tell them but several others agree, I JUST NEED A BREAK! I was wondering how it will look to have a small gap in between graduating and applying for jobs. My gap won't be empty so I think that's an advatange.
