Graduation Gift Idea?

Its been a VERY long 6 years for my wife working on her ADN, she started out doing a single pre-req or two a semester while trying to raise our two young children. The last two years have been a real roller coaster, each semester being a bigger challenge then the last, both for her and myself. However we are nearing the end, with just 2 weeks left until graduation... I want to get her a graduation present... This is the biggest accomplishment of her life (other then my two wonderful kids)... I am wondering what I should get her for a gift... Something that tells her how proud I am of her, but something that will be useful for her as well. I was thinking of getting her a new PDA, the one she has now is very old, and its battery doesn't last but a few hours. It sits connected to the computer so it wont loose its memory. Of course I plan on getting her a nice card and writing something nice for her...

What do you all think?

I'm graduating in 2 1/2 weeks. I asked for a new Littman stethoscope. If she doesn't have one already, that would be nice. Or, maybe after 6 years, she may just be sick of nursing things altogether, and a good thing to get her would be a spa day, or something equally relaxing. Just a couple of ideas!

Yeah a nice new Stetho unless she already has that. That is what my parents got me when I got into school and it meant a whole lot to me.

I graduated in December. Money was super tight...so I didn't get a graduation present until AFTER I started working. In fact...it just came today. I got a Littman Master Classic II stethescope, the black edition. Very sleek, and very stylish (dare I say sexy?) It's something I can use every day, and really makes me feel like a "REAL" nurse. If you're looking to make it extra special you can have her name engraved on it as well.

My congratulations to her, and to all of you. It takes a whole family to survive nursing school!

I was also going to say stethoscope

My wife passed her last test today, so we now have her final grade, she has pass her last class with a B...

After looking at the PDA options and trying to find a good fit, I decided to get her a day spa gift package instead... Her graduation is this weekend I cannot wait to give it to her, I am so proud of her…

Thanks for all the advise...
