Hello ! I am a BSN student and I gradate in December. I am beyond excited and it has been a very long road. I am only 22 but I have been rejected from a program before and have struggled with so much trying to make it though, as I am sure we all have.I am blessed to have my mom and boyfriend that have helped me along the way. Anyway does anyone have any advice for me about how long I should study before I take the NCLEX? Any advice for practicum? I signed up for L&D and I hope I get it ! I am seriously ready to break down because it is only July but December seems soooo far away ! It has been 4.5 years for me and I am just ready to finish!! Is anyone else graduating soon and feeling the same way? Please and Thank You

Your situation should a lot like mine. I'm about to be 22 in a week and graduating in March. I am submitting my preceptor request for L&D, Nursery, and NICU. I'm really hoping that I get one of those because a lot of new graduate positions in my area will only hire if you did your preceptor in that unit. GOOD LUCK & Congrats!! We've almost made it. Now time to start buying NCLEX review books
Yes I really need to start looking. I have always heard good things about Saunders and Kaplan. In my school they have an optional NCLEX review course. I am not going to take it because I cant afford the extra credit hours. I think I will do fine with 1 or 2 review books. Hopefully I also hope you get the unit of your choice !!
Thank You! Yes I have to take one step at a time. If I don't I will go crazy.
