GPA

Here's my story i apply for the nursing program and got put on the waiting list, however at my local cc the waiting list is not brought foward so i have to reapply again, and to make matter worst they even change the teas version to verision V. the last time i apply my GPA was a 3.45 now it is 3.48 because of class i took in the summer. i have A's in my two AP classes however my lowest grade on my transcript is my math B- and sociology B I am register to take them over to bring back up my GPA to at least a 3.6 with some other art classes. do you guys think its a good idea my college dont have a problem with retakes. I also put off micro until Spring after i apply being that its probably a challenging class and i cant afford a B on my records. Nursing class begins Fall 2012.

I think it's really beneficial for colleges to allow retakes for certain classes or allow you to pick up something extra to boost your GPA a tad, as long as there is a limit. Everyone makes mistakes or falls of track every once in a while and that can mess up your GPA. It's nice to be able to get another chance! Good luck! :)
