Got rejected by nursing school...HELP?..

Is there any other nursing schools that have good ratings and reputations?

I did some research on nursing schools in the country but would like to have some advice from you guys...

So far I have 3.93 GPA overall with 85% on TEAS...

I don't mind flying to a different state...

That's crazy you were rejected with that GPA and TEAS score.

What were the requirements for the school you applied??

There are a lot of nursing schools all over the country with excellent reputations. The internet is your friend. I suggest narrowing down some states you are interested in and go from there.

Without any specifics it's hard for anyone to really help.

Do you have a bachelors already? Are you looking at ADN programs? 4 year programs?

As the poster above suggested, pick a few states where you would like to live / work / are not impossible to get a job as a new grad.

A good starting point is to look up the schools NCLEX pass rate which should be on the BON website. A high pass rate doesn't necessarily mean it's a great program but it's a start.

Thanks for the comments. I applied for a nursing school in a state university but they put me on the alternate list because of some issues regarding my visa. The problems are already solved though.. I am an international student and don't have a bachelor's degree..

I was looking into nursing programs in ivy league schools but do you think my scores are competitive enough for their programs?
