Hi everyone!
So here is my situation: I actually got accepted into a new grad program with a great hospital in July. But I didn't pass the NCLEX the first time I took it and I knew that if I were to take it the NCLEX a second time it would be too late for their deadline to have an RN license.
I told the Nurse Recruitment Manager that I wouldn't make their deadline to have an RN license and told her my situation. She said thank you so very much for informing us. The next new grad program will be next summer but check back with me in January because we might have a spring program.
I think what she told me I guess leaves the door open to possible future opportunities? I suppose? I don't really know, I like to think it does though.
My parents suggested that I contact the Nurse Recruitment Manager and tell her that I have my RN license now. I passed NCLEX in October, on my second time.
Do you all think I should contact her now? Or wait until January?
Thanks!

Now. She should know by now if they'll be having a spring program. You need to start applying for jobs, you can just wait two months for something that may not even be happening.

Sooner is always better than later. You want her to keep you in mind as much as possible.
Thank you schnookimz and sunshyne17 for the advice! Would you happen to have any advice in what I should say in that email to the Nurse Recruitment Manager?
Oh actually I think I was able to come up with a nicely worded email. So please ignore the previous post!
And schnookimz and sunshyne17, thanks again for your comments!
