Got hired!!

Hey everyone I just got hired as a psych nurse at this hospital they have children, adolescent adult and geriatric psych. I don't know which one to pick :/ kinda confused. I have med surg experience and like working with adults but don't have any child or adolescent experience and don't know whether I will like working with the younger population. Where do you think I should start out?

    I finally made up my mind I'm gonna go with my gut and take the detox position I don't care Abt the money I'm gonna do what I enjoy!! I feel so happy now I can't wait to start :)

    im in the same boat as you. currently working in med surg, pay is really good

    but im so stressed out and its affecting my health already.

    i got an offer from my previous employer, its a psych outpatient partial program

    but the cut in pay will be like 10 bucks. which psych facility did u get in to? if u dont mind!

    I joined the club too :) I put my notice in today I've joined a local inpatient psych facility. I really excited, it's working with children. Med surg isn't for me !!! Good luck, life is too short to be unhappy.

    That's good to hear I got into NSLIJ psych.. But I don't care Abt the money I'm not killing myself like I was in med surg!
