just install as antivirus application.

if the security of the hospital is consistent, then their would be no chances of getting a virus. technologies now a days have fast remedies. and easy access

Is this homework?

Hospital systems are just as vulnerable as any other computer. Yes they are encrypted and protected but are vulnerable. Yes they crash. Most facilities have a downtime protocol that is followed until back on line....then they have "people" in IT that enter the information.

The security of medical records in the US consist or complex security system, firewalls, and encryption for protection.

It is a little more complex than installing an antivirus application

Medical records are as vulnerable as anything else. It all depends on how bad someone wants to get in and how much time and knowledge they have. Hospitals, by and large, have pretty good security and the breaches are usually limited. Their security is on par with a national bank.
