Going for my PALS.

Ok, I have been doing peds nursing (Er & Floor) and am about to go for my PALS. I have the books and the cd and want to know how much more demanding is it then the BLS and such. Is there any web-sites that can give me some test questions or extra help?

Pals is definitely a bit more challenging than BLS. They will actually do BLS in the PALS class. Some things to review are basic rhythms. Do the pretest on the CD it should. Other wise you should be ok. The first time I took PALS I was a new grad and I made it through. I am sure you will too.

Here's something I'd recommend:

In your PALS Course Guide, really pay attention to Part 4: Pediatric Assessment. On page 29, there is a chart that describes the components that fit into each part of the assessment process. It helps you differentiate things like the general assessment and the primary assessment, which can become confusing during the scenarios.
