how do you go back to Nursing?

If you are charged with a felony, have your name on the National Practitioner's Database and Nursys with a mandated suspension, how do you recover from that? Just hope and pray someone will give you a job? It seems to me that even with completing mandated professional assistance program there's no hope for traveling, working in critical care or emergency med again. Has anyone recovered to pre-incident status?
