Hi All,
In the long term I want to become a Nurse Practitioner.
I'm planning on getting into a school which is near where I live. This Nursing program at this school is accredited by CCNE but the school is only nationally accredited by ACICS.
The concern I have is that this school is not regionally accredited (Regional accreditation - Wikipedia) so I'm wondering if I'll be able to get into an NP program with a BSN from this school?
In other words, do most schools with NP programs accept BSN applicants which have earned their degree from nationally accredited schools? If so, do applicants with degrees from regionally accredited schools have a higher chance of being accepted into the NP program?

This is really institution-specific and there is no black-and-white answer. It's completely dependent upon the admissions policy of each NP program. You'll need to speak with an admissions counselor at the schools you might want to apply to in order to confirm if they'll accept your degree. Typically, CCNE accrediation is what they're looking for, but only the school can answer the regional accreditation question.
