Getting Discouraged

Hello,

I am getting discouraged. I am in BMCC. (for RN Program) I had finished all my pre-req classes. But did not make it in the fall semester because I was not on 1199 union. They were chosen first. Why? If I don't make it into the spring 2011 I will be forced to look for another college. My GPA did go down a bit due to two online classes I have taken. These are my grades:

A&P 1 and 2 A ( for each one)

Psychology A

Speech A

Mat 104 B+ ( online class) BMCC

Develop Psychology B+ ( online class) BMCC

Microbiology B+ ( summer 1 class-- 5 weeks long) BMCC

All other classes were A's from another college.

I did not take chemistry.. gotten the approval from science dept. I did see Mr S from Nursing program and he said that I am on a waiting list for the fall and number 6. ( The program is already filled up) So, That does not sound promising. He told me not to give up and sign up for the program again in October for the spring semester 2011. I am 46 years old and running out of patience. Oh and now I am told after taking the Mat 104 class that I was not suppose to take it on line.. what the heck!!! why wasn't I told this before? And to let you know those classes online were time consuming and nerve wrecking when quizes were given. A hour glass was there counting down and not to mention you had 10 minutes to calculate 20 questions. I did well on the final cause I had 2 hours to do it. Grades were based on interactions with your peers. It was too much.

Any suggestions? I was thinking on getting into occupational therapy at laguardia cc. Or take the LPN program at that college since I have taken all the required classes at BMCC. Does anyone know about the program?

I work and need to. I am a Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist... looking for a better job.. I do have alot on my plate right now.. HELP...

Meanwhile, I wait.
