Hey! I just have a quick question. I'm 15 and my next school year is the start of high school and I want to earn my CNA through high school. What classes do I have to take to earn that?

I don't think highschools offer CNA training. You take that after highschool at a college. The training consists of 2 parts. The first part is classroom training at the college. Then when you pass that part, you do the clinicals / on-the-job training at a nursing home. After passing both parts, you take a state written test and state skills test for your CNA license and placement on your state's Nurse Aide Registry.

Curtis high school in staten island ny, offers the cna and lpn program to students interested, some other high school might offer it if they have a nursing program.

I live in nc and i know the high schools around here you are able to take cna but once you finish with that class you still go to take your state exam. Now our colleges no longer offer the lpn program its just the rn program now. Most places ate wanting rn not lpn and lpn can only work like alf but they are using med techs now. So its better to just get your rn thats what i am doing
